While you might be able to switch to another gas boiler care provider, your best option could be to select one that’s as no restriction on the renewal central heating age. With an older gas fired boiler you will have a restricted number of suppliers but probably a greater need for care.
If your central heating breaks down twice in a year, some gas boiler insurance policies wont care you more than this. Ensure that you have unlimited call-outs if you have an older central heating.
You can reduce your regular fee by selecting a policy that contains a call out charge. Whether this is better for you in the long run depends on how many failures your central heating system will have.
